Does eyeliner hurt?
Every person has different pain thresholds. However, as it’s a sensitive area, we do use a numbing cream to minimise discomfort. Many of my clients report just a little tickling sensation.

Do PMU brows hurt?
I can never guarantee it’ll be completely painless but I take great care to minimise discomfort.

How long do PMU brows last?
It really depends on a lot of factors. If you look after them and protect them from UV rays by applying factor 50 face cream every day (even when the sun isn’t out), PMU eyebrows will undoubtedly last longer. How vibrant you want the brows to be can also have a baring on how often you get a top up. They can last as long as 3 years if care is taken. A colour boost is recommended after 18 months to keep them looking fresh.

How long does PMU eyeliner last?
It is estimated that PMU eyeliner can last 3-5 years without needing a top up. This can change depending on skin, age, lifestyle etc. As with PMU eyebrows, a colour boost is recommended after 18 months.

What technique do you use for PMU brows?
I am trained in powder brow which is a technique used to create eyebrows with a soft, powder effect which gives a beautifully natural healed result. It is not to be confused with Micro Blading which is an entirely different technique.

Can you top up someone else’s work?
That’s always a difficult question to answer. Each client will have to be assessed on an individual basis as it very much depends on how much pigment is still in the skin and whether there is a risk of over saturating the area. I will always be honest if I feel like I cannot complete the treatment to the required standard.

Do you shave my eyebrows off?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! I try to work with your natural brow wherever possible. There may be some minor shaping but this will be minimal and certainly won’t involve complete removal of your natural brow.

What is the healing process for PMU brows?
The first 10 days are the hardest where I recommend you do not get them wet. This includes avoiding saunas, steam rooms, spa’s etc. During this time, the brows may be itchy and will go scabby before starting to flake. It’s really important not to scratch them as it’s imperative that the scabs come away when they are ready and aren’t dragging out the ink. After the 10 days the brows may appear lighter because the ink is sitting behind the milky layers of the skin. It takes 6 weeks for the final colour to come through.

What’s included for the price?
The initial treatment and a top up at 6 weeks if required. Often, this isn’t necessary for eyeliner.

What’s the difference between eyeliner and a lash enhancement?
A lash enhancement is the planting of ink along the lash line only to subtly frame the eye and give the appearance of fuller, thicker lashes. Eyeliner is thicker and also sits above the lash line as well as through it.

How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 and ID may be requested. My licence and insurance only applies to those aged 18 or over.

Are you licensed?
Yes, I have been inspected and received my licence from Swale Borough Council.

Are you insured?
Absolutely! I wouldn’t tattoo someone’s face without that reassurance for both myself and my clients.

Where did you qualify?
I completed training for both PMU eyeliner and PMU brows with Beaute Elite Permanent Makeup. I have certificates for both classic PMU eyeliner/lash enhancement and PMU brows.
